Hambleton Primary Academy is a National Teaching School, National support school and a committed member of the Fylde Coast Teaching School Alliance. Through our partnership with other local, good and outstanding schools we aim to improve children’s life chances on the Fylde Coast by;
- Training teachers to meet the needs of our locality
- Training future school leaders
- Developing all our staff to be inspirational and effective practitioners
- Engage in research to improve provision and practice, e.g. the teaching of mathematics, impact of changes to SEN provision
- Provide school to school support.
Our Alliance is unique, nationally, because we have members from across the range of primary, secondary, special, 6th form and university education and we also span both Lancashire and Blackpool local authorities. Our capacity to work together to learn from each other and provide the best start we can for children and young people on the Fylde is strengthened by our diversity.
