Hambleton Primary Academy is part of a growing partnership of schools leading the way for more school-led, on the job teacher training. Being able to work closely with and support who we train as teachers in our region helps us in delivering the best outcomes for the children in our schools.
We still have vacancies left to start training from September 2024 and we would be very interested in hearing from you if you are thinking of becoming a teacher, or if you know someone who is. We’re looking for people who have (or will have) a degree, have a passion for teaching and want to inspire young people to fulfil their potential.
We offer a wide range of teacher training programmes: Please click here for further information.
Our programmes do not involve travelling to a university, you can stay very close to home, and our secondary programmes also include a free qualification to become a qualified Teacher of the PSHE Association.
You can contact Aly Spencer on aly.spencer@blackpoolsixth.ac.uk should you require more information or to arrange an online chat with her to ask any questions you may have about the courses and future opportunities in teaching. The SCITT also has a website www.northwestscitt.co.uk and you can find them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
